No matter which brand of the external optical drive, we may encounter some common problems. Normally, these problems are not caused by the CD/DVD drive and can be fixed, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot or contact us for help through the contact form below (we’ll reply to you within 24~48 hours, you can send an email directly to us via  service@rodzons.com).
Problem :
#8 Problem: Do not know how to change the region code. (Windows OS).
Solution :
Please refer to #4 problem and the last step, please reboot the computer after settings.
Problem :
#9 Problem: Do not know how to change the region code. (Mac OS).
Solution :
Please refer to #5 problem and the last step, please reboot the computer after settings.
Problem :
#11 Problem: This device cannot run on multiple computers.
Solution :
This CD/DVD drive may be defective or damaged during shipment, you can contact Amazon to replace a new one for free or send a message to us and allow us to arrange a free replacement for you.

If you have no time to wait for a new device, please contact Amazon to get a return label and return it for a full refund.

Problem :
#13 Problem: Cannot eject disc.
Solution :
1: For Apple System, please eject disk from your computer.
Solution :
2: Insert a fine needle, bent paperclip or SIM eject tool into the hole near the open button on the drive and gently push until the tray pops out.
Problem :
#14 Problem: Use extra port or extension cords on Apple computer, drive not working?
Solution :
1: Please chose the wireless adapter for Apple computer to avoid power failure caused by unqualified extension cords
2: It is recommended to use thunderbolt port to prevent power shortage

Cannot power on/Can't be opened:

Please push the DVD Drive front panel (where you load the disc) hard to ensure better inner power contact (the inner SATA interface may be loosened during long-distance transportation).
